UDA Grassroot Elections 2023 Registration – Join Now

UDA, The United Democratic Alliance, is allowing online registration for membership for grassroots party elections on December 9, 2023.All Kenyans over 18 are eligible, but must register with UDA to hold positions.

There are fees from 200 KES to 20,000 KES based on the level of position sought, from polling center to county chairman. To reach higher levels, you need to succeed at lower levels. Nevertheless, 2022 UDA leaders who are elected can bypass levels.

Registration involves completing an online form with ID, photo, details, paying fees, and entering a OTP. On Safaricom, users must unblock texts/calls from UDA. Once registered, status can be verified on the verification page. Eligibility Criteria:

• All Kenyans over 18 years old are eligible to participate in UDA grassroots elections.
• To hold an official position, you must be a registered member of the UDA party.
• To compete for higher level positions like Constituency Chairperson, you first need to succeed in lower level elections.

UDA Grassroots Elections 2023 – Membership Registration Process

• Go to https://app.uda.ke/grassroot/
• Read the Given details on the webpage
• Then, scroll down to the Election Level section

• Choose from Polling Center, Ward, Constituency, County.
• Then, click on “Next”.
• Now, in the “Personal Details” section, you need to upload your Photo first of all. Then provide your ID/Passport, Name, Date of Birth, Location Details, Position Details.

• Then, click on “Next” to move to the next section.
• In the next section you need to make the payment.
• After the payment, you will receive a One time password on your phone. To complete the registration process, you need to enter this OTP on the webpage when asked.

Note : Make sure you check the option “I Agree to Receive Periodic text massages and call from UDA” option during registration. Also, you need to unblock promotional messages by dialling *456*9*5*5*1# from your Safaricom line.

How to verify UDA Grassroot Registration

In order to verify your registration status, you need to :

• Visit the Verification page
• Enter the asked information
• Hit the submit button.
• Your registration status will appear on the screen.
