The Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Cooperatives in Kakamega County is offering temporary job positions for Supervisors and Agripreneurs/Enumerators. These positions are being offered in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development and the National Agricultural Value Chain Development Project (NAVCDP). These positions will involve registering and mapping Agricultural Value Chain Actors in Kakamega County for a period of one month.

The table below shows the number of vacancies for Enumerators, Supervisors, Assistants, and Senior Supervisors in the Subcounties and wards within the Kakamega constituency.

In total, there are 944 vacancies. Out of these, 825 are for Enumerators post, 60 for supervisors post, 46 for Assistant supervisor posts and 12 for senior supervisors job positions.

Job Requirements / Eligibility for Latest Kakamega Job Offers

For the Agripreneurs/Enumerators post, the requirements are as follows:

• Age of the applicant should be between 20 – 45 years.
• Applicant should be an active resident of the ward in which the profiling exercise is being undertaken.
• Have a minimum academic qualification of a post-secondary qualification from a recognized
  institution, preferably in Agricultural Sciences, Agribusiness, Statistics, Social Sciences, Community
  Development & related disciplines

To be appointed as an Assistant Ward-Based Supervisor, you must possess a minimum academic qualification of a degree from a recognized university. It is highly desirable for this degree to be in fields such as Agricultural Sciences, Statistics, Social Sciences, Community Development, or any other related disciplines.

To be a Senior Supervisor, you need to have at least a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. It is preferable if the degree is in fields like Agricultural Sciences, Statistics, Social Sciences, Community Development, or related disciplines.
