The Public Service Commission of Kenya is hiring for the post of Member of the Independent Negotiation and Evaluation Committee. The primary responsibility of the Committee is to negotiate performance contracts with public bodies, ensuring that their performance objectives and indicators align with the strategic plan, and evaluating their progress and achievements. The job is part-time and temporary, and it could last up to three years. If the person does a good job, they could keep the job for another three years. Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree (minimum) holder from any university recognized in Kenya.
2. At least 10 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
3. Have knowledge of national development goals.
4. Have experience in performance management.
5. Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure that the performance targets and indicators of public bodies are aligned with the strategic plan.

• Ensure that the public bodies’ indicators are aligned with results that are citizen-focused.
• Conduct mid-year performance reviews of public bodies.
• Evaluate the performance of public bodies.
