In order to enhance voter experience, the Commission made the registration process faster, easier, and less crowded than before. Given the lingering COVID-19 situation, the new registration solution will help decongest registration centers, reduce delays, and allow prospective registrants to schedule appointments and monitor their applications from the comfort of their homes.
In order to register, prospective registrants must first log in to pre-register by providing basic biodata and some biometrics and then must physically present themselves at one of the registration centers of their choice to complete the registration.
This greatly simplifies the registration process since a substantial portion can be completed online ahead of contact with registration officials. Using this portal, all eligible Nigerians can take advantage of the services offered by the Commission.
