Last year, the Jamhuri Day celebrations were held at Nayo Stadium in Nairobi. This year, the event will take place at the Famous Uhuru Gardens.
Around 30,000 people are expected to be part of 60th Jamhuri Day celebrations. Offcourse all the counties will host celebrations too. If you are in Nairobi, you must attend the Jamhuri Day event at the Uhuru gardens.
As per the news, At least three foreign heads of state are expected to be the part of the event. The Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo has also ensured that security arrangements are at place for the event.
The Nairobi Regional Commander, Mr. Adamson Bungei has ensured that there will not be any interruptions on Major roads during Jamhuri day celebrations.

Uhuru Gardens Entry Timings on Jamhuri Day
Those who don’t know where will primary celebrations of Jamhuri day take place are hereby informed that the venue is Uhuru Gardens, Nairobi. Also, county level events will take place.
All interested people can enjoy the free Entry for the Uhuru day celebrations. The entry gates will open from 6 am onwards. All the members of public are expected to be seated by 8:00 pm. So, make sure you enter by 7:30 pm.
Apart from this, the Kenyans can enjoy free entry to National parks today. The Tourism and Wildlife Cabinet Secretary Dr. Alfred Mutua on Friday, 8th December, 2023 has made this announcement. So, if you are in Nairobi, do visit the National parks.
