KUCCPS Application 2024/2025 Online
To beat the 2024/2025 application deadline, follow these steps:
- Open the KUCCPS student portal
- Use your KCSE index number as your username (20501236001)
- Enter KCSE year
- Enter your KCPE index number or birth certificate number as your password
- Head straight to the courses and bookmark or write down the course codes from various institutions
- Start your application process
- Enter the course code
- The system will fetch your course depending on the code you entered
- You will be notified if you qualify for the courses (remote institutions are less competitive, so you might want to try them)
- Fill all the blank spaces with your preferred courses (don’t choose a course you don’t want just to fill the boxes, you end up being selected to pursue that course)
- Click submit
- Proceed to pay Ksh 1,500 using Mpesa
- After you’re done with the payment, enter the Mpesa transaction code in the REF section on the portal.
Wait for KUCCPS to announce the shortlists after 3 – 4 months
Courses offered
The courses available at KUCCPS are divided into five sections
- KMTC programmes (C plain and above)
- Degree programmes (C+ plus and above)
- Diploma programmes (C plain and above)
- Certificate programmes (D plain and above)
- Artisan programmes (E and above)
Please NOTE that KMTC courses are different. You can’t pursue a certificate course with a D plain unlike in other courses where you are eligible.
Overall KUCCPS has 39 public universities, 30 private universities, 237 TVETs, 118 colleges, and 11 universities TVET. Students can choose any of the schools included as they are eligible for government scholarships.
