What is eBelia Program:
The eBelia program is one of the initiatives announced in Budget 2021. It aims to alleviate financial burdens and promote cashless spending among youth and full-time students enrolled in accredited local institutions of higher learning.
eBelia Programme 2021 | RM 150 in e-Wallet
In the Malaysian Budget Speech of the Year 2021, the Minister of Finance talked about how the youth adopts technology almost instantly and encourages others to do it. He also said that in order to transform Malaysia into a cashless society, the participation of the young population is very important. To encourage cashless transactions, the Finance minister announced the e-Belia program. This program will benefit young Malaysians of age 18 to 20 years.RM 150 will be transferred to their respective e-wallet accounts.
The 2021 Budget allocated a total of RM200 thousand to provide each eligible youth with RM100 e-wallet credit. Recently additional RM100 thousand was added to the total funds. After this addition, the new benefit to be given under the eBelia program is now RM 150

Key Features of the ebelia RM 150 Credit Programme
- The program is expected to benefit around two 2 million Malaysians, with a total allocation of RM300 million
- Each eligible applicant can claim RM150 in the form of e-cash credit in their respective e-wallet accounts.
- The credit claim period is from 1 June 2021 to 22 July 2021. The claimed credit can be spent until 31 July 2021
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THE EBELIA PROGRAM?
This new e-wallet credit scheme is limited to Malaysian residents only. If you are from Malaysia, make sure you fulfill the following eligibility conditions :
- You have reached the age of 18 to 20 years in 2021. In other words, those who were born from 2001 to 2003 satisfy the age limit criteria
- Students studying in public or private institutions of higher learning (registered with concerned ministry) who are at the diploma level or SKM4
The data provided by the applicants will be double-checked. So, make sure that you provide correct information while applying for the ebelia program.
HOW CAN I APPLY FOR THE EBELIA RM150 PROGRAM under belanjawan 2021?
Special Note: Any eligible applicant can apply for RM150 e-wallet credit within one service provider only. Those who will try to apply multiple times on multiple service providers will be disqualified.

The Ministry of Finance announced that the eBelia eWallet program, which provides youths with RM150 in eWallet credit, will be available for redemption on June 1, 2021. The program will receive RM300 million in funding and will benefit 2 million Malaysian youths.
eBelia RM 150 Wallet Credit Scheme : Important Dates
1st June to 22nd July 2021 – Credit processing time. Within this time period, eligible applicants will get RM 150 in their digital wallets.
31st July 2021: Make sure you spend your received credit before this date. After this date, your credits will be invalid.
