  • Click Apply

Step 4: Enter vehicle details

  • Enter the full number plate or chassis number of the vehicle without a space (eg KAO123Z)
  • Click search
  • The registration and chassis number of the vehicle will be displayed
  • Click submit to move to the next step

Step 5: Pay

  • Click on your preferred payment method
  • For Mpesa which is more popular, go to Lipa na Mpesa
  • Enter Paybill number 222222
  • Enter the account number (it will be provided)
  • Enter amount Ksh 550
  • Confirm details
  • Enter Mpesa pin

Once you have paid, you will be redirected to the download section

6: Download and print copy of the records

Your application details will be provided together with the payment receipts

  • Download the “copy of records” on the top-most right side
  • You can print them

Countercheck the information provided in the online search against the one on the vehicle or the logbook. If they match, you can purchase the vehicle. If they don’t match, stay away from the vehicle.
