NIS Career Portal – Registration, Recruitment 2023, Login
National Intelligence Service, NIS Kenya recruits candidates almost every year. To handle the recruitment process, the department has developed NIS Career Portal.
Interested candidates, kindly note that Recruitment in NIS takes place at three levels. These are 1) Graduate Trainees, 2) Diploma Trainees 3) Certificate Trainees. Before you could apply, make sure you register on the Career Portal.
NIS Career Portal
This portal is dedicated to interested job aspirants. Before you can submit your application, user registration is essential. Once registered, users may login and apply for vacancies. This article shows you the registration & login process step by step.
NIS Registration Requirements
Before signing up, make sure you have the following documents handy. These are required:
- National ID (Mandatory)
- Passport photo image (Mandatory)
- University/College/Tertiary education completion certificate(s)-(Mandatory)
- O-Level School completion certificate (Mandatory)
O-Level School leaving certificate is also required, but it is Optional
NIS Career Portal Registration
- Go to the registration page.
- Enter your first name, Email and click on “Register Account.”
- After this, you get an email with the Subject “NIS CAREER PORTAL – NEW ACCOUNT CREATION NOTIFICATION”.
- The email contains your username and password that you can use for login

- Go to the Login Page
- Enter your Username and password and click on “Log in.”
- After you enter the correct login details
After successful login, you will be taken to the dashboard.
After your first login, you need to provide your Personal information, upload your national ID, and passport photo and share other details like Education and Contact information,

How to Submit National Intelligence Service Online Application Form
Once the vacancies are notified, interested, and eligible candidates can submit the online form. Make sure you have registered using the steps given above. Then login into your account and complete the profile.
